Eligibility Criteria for IBPS IT Officer Exam

Educational Qualification

Nationality




To apply for the IBPS IT Officer exam, you need to be a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan or a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 01.01.1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or a person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.


Exam Pattern and Syllabus for IBPS IT Officer Exam




The IBPS IT Officer exam consists of three stages: preliminary exam, main exam, and interview. The preliminary exam and the main exam are conducted online and have objective type questions. The interview is conducted by the participating banks and has subjective type questions.


Preliminary Exam




The preliminary exam is the first stage of the IBPS IT Officer exam. It has three sections: reasoning ability, quantitative aptitude, and English language. The total duration of the exam is one hour and the total marks are 125.
