The plot of Guru Dev
Guru Dev is a film that revolves around two childhood friends, Dev Kumar (Rishi Kapoor) and Gaurav (Anil Kapoor), who grow up to have different paths in life. While Dev becomes a police inspector who fights against crime and corruption, Gaurav becomes a criminal who works for his father Kakhan (Kiran Kumar), a notorious don who is also known as Guru.
The conflict between Dev and Gaurav begins when Inspector Khan (Danny Denzongpa) is assigned to arrest Kakhan for his illegal activities. Khan suspects that Dev is involved with Kakhan's gang and tries to trap him. However, Dev proves his innocence and vows to catch Kakhan himself.
