Note: The above description is correct for Windows 7, though on Windows 8 it should work slightly different. All the above points about the Host needing to have Hamachi running in the PC, Hamachi being in 'pc' network, your PC running Hamachi with internet connection, etc., still apply. Depending on your Windows version, you should be able to get the IP address of the host from the 'File' menu. On Windows 7 you should see that the Host IP is shown in the comments section in the right-bottom corner of the game interface (though only if you have Hamachi running in the PC, which should be the case since you are creating games) and also, if you have Hamachi running in the PC, you should be able to open the File menu and see your IP address in the 'edit network connections' area on the left hand side.

Unless you have Hamachi running in the PC on which the game is hosted, you may not be able to get your IP address. If this happens to you, even if Hamachi is running on your PC, you would have to resort to changing the router settings. See that the PC to which you are connecting to, and which is running the game, is in the DMZ (which is discussed below), and do not set the PORT on the Host PC to a specific port, only leave it as 4747 and the connection should work.
